Located in Cork’s City Centre at 9 Cook Street, Trócaire Cork has played an important fundraising and development education role in the Munster Area since 1991.

Kinsale Trócaire Photo Exhbition
With the support of the Kinsale Peace Project, Trócaire, the Catholic overseas agency for development will display a photographic exhibition in the Carmelite Friary in Kinsale from 9th - 19th July 2008. Admission is free. Entitled Trócaire - Helping to carry the Cross of Injustice - the thought-provoking images depict the suffering of some of the world's poorest people. This year Trócaire celebrates its 35th anniversary. Our mission to work for a just world where people's dignity is ensured, rights are respected and basic needs are met is more urgent than ever before.
Evening Echo Mini Marathon - Run it for Trócaire
Through no fault of their own, millions of people are living in poverty, suffering from hunger or the impacts of climate change and being denied their basic human rights. Trocaire invests in essential long-term and emergency projects that protect and nurture lives into the future. Buy Fair Trade
If you buy a bar of Fairtrade chocolate, you get a guarantee that the farmer who grew the cocoa beans for the chocolate was paid a fair price for his crop. The fairtrade scheme and the chocolate companies who are part of the scheme make sure of that. The farmers also get a bit extra for their community – to spend on things like clean water and medical supplies.
