Trócaire has received the Excellence Through People Award for 2004-05. This is granted annually by FÁS, following an audit of the organisation's training plan and its implementation. This is the sixth consecutive year that Trócaire has received the award.
Trócaire employs over 100 people in Ireland between its head office in Maynooth and it's regional offices in Dublin, Cork and Belfast. In addition, we have a number of local and expatriate staff working in our overseas regional offices in Kenya, Angola, Central America, and Afghanistan.

In February 2004, Trócaire was ranked in the Top 10 of the Discovery/Irish Independent Best Companies to Work for in Ireland Competition 2004 . We also received an outstanding achievement award for Pride in the Workplace. In this award category, the pride employees possess towards their specific role in the company, their team or workgroup and towards the company as a whole is assessed.
This follow's on from 2003's success in the competition, where we were ranked 19th in Best Companies list, 1st as the organisation where staff most look forward to coming to work and 1st for organisations where staff are proud of their contribution to the community.
Trócaire is also a member of People in Aid. People in Aid is an international network of development and humanitarian assistance agencies. They provide support to agencies commited to improving their Human Resources Management, by providing tools such as the People in Aid Code of Good Practice.
