Trócaire works through education to inform young people about the root causes of poverty and injustice and mobilise them to bring about global change.
Trócaire encourages young people to engage in the debate around global citizenship through Development Education. Trócaire achieves this through its work with and through educators and schools in the formal sector and through a small grants scheme in the informal sector.
This approach engages young people with global issues and provides a platform where they can reflect, learn new skills and take action on the issues as they see them.
